Language Trainer

ME EN 1010 Fall 2016: Computer-Based Problem Solving for Engineering Systems

About

I created an app to help me learn Japanese. The project initially started as an extra-credit assignment in ME1010 to familiarize ourselves with MATLAB’s gui operations. The assignment was fairly simple: make buttons do things. I decided to create a language trainer game to compliment the Japanese course I was taking at the time. The idea was to train my mind to recall material faster; hence, I created a system to display flash cards for limited amounts of time (dependent on what the user wants).

Fun fact: After talking with the Professor (sometime around Fall 2019), there has yet to be a project more difficult than this.
